Boat Safety Program

Next week we will have MAST boat safety sessions running for our primary students.  These important sessions contain information about how to keep safe in the marine environment and specifically when on a boat.  Considering we live on the coast, and have a port in our local area the messages the program provides to students are very important.

Swimming & Water Safety Program

A reminder that our Kinder and 3-6 Swimming and Water Safety program will run in week 9 and 10 of this term.  All students must wear a swimming cap in the pool to assist with the filtration system. 

Reports

Communicating with families (reporting) will also be occurring in week 9 and 10.  Please book in to see your child’s teacher to discuss student learning progress for the year. 

Attendance

Our yearly attendance sits at 90%!  That is a fantastic achievement, it is wonderful to have so many of our students here at school for the majority of the school year so far.  The more students we have at school, the more learning takes place.  Our ultimate goal is to have all our students learning, all of the time, but sometimes this just can’t happen and we understand this.  Please let the office staff know if your child is away ill, or for another reason so we can record this in our attendance system.
